There’s something undeniably raw and powerful about the desert at sunset — especially when it’s captured through the eyes of our photographer who refused to give up on the shot.
This collection was born from a day of uncertainty. Despite a thick cover of clouds hanging over Saguaro National Park, Seus made a bold choice: to wait it out. After nearly 6 hours in the vast, sprawling desert — running on little sleep after a long journey from Australia through Dallas to Tucson — he stayed. No shortcuts. No second chances. Just a deep belief that the sunset would break through.
And it did.
Each piece in this series captures the majestic silhouettes of Saguaro cacti under golden hues and dramatic skies. The angles weren’t easy to find — in a landscape as expansive and rugged as this, framing the perfect shot meant hiking through uneven terrain and scanning the horizon for the right light. But when the sun dipped low, everything aligned: texture, contrast, and atmosphere. These aren’t just photos — they’re the result of commitment, intuition, and pure artistic grit.

The prints arrived quickly, undamaged, and were packaged really nicely.
I did have a small error where I received one incorrect print, but once I reached out, their customer support team (thanks Trevor!) were incredibly helpful and friendly. They resolved it within a couple of days and even replaced both prints, not just the incorrect one.

Raffles is my favourite place to visit in Singapore since my first visit wandering the deep verandas and lush gardens as a backpacker back in 1981 and many times in between.
So what better gift to give myself but a set of two fine prints of Raffles showcasing the immaculately preserved colonial architecture that makes this hotel a world famous architectural icon.
We’re so happy with this purchase. The image has a calm, familiar feel that works beautifully in our bedroom, and there’s something really special about seeing a local scene captured so thoughtfully. It feels authentic, timeless and personal.
I love these images! They are lightweight but look expensive and are High quality. I added a close-up of the water so you can see it’s crystal clear water. Customer service was 10/10 I can’t speak more highly of Oblong Shop
We ordered Summer Views Bondi Art Print but unfortunately was damaged in transit. Trevor could not have been more helpful. Once I contacted him & sent photos of the damaged print, he immediately ordered a replacement print & we received a few days later. The print looks fabulous & the service was great.
My print of a single palm tree arrived quickly and safely. It was very well packed for post. I love the print. 🌴❤️
The photos I ordered arrived very promptly- when I realized that there was damage to one frame due to the courier damaging the package I contacted support and within a very short space of time I received a replacement of the one damaged photo at no cost to me. They were very prompt and courteous and I am a very satisfied customer and would certainly recommend them
